| Aims | The International Inter-Varsity Innovation Competition 2026 is an international innovation competition designed to foster creativity, innovation, teamwork, and presentation skills among academicians, researchers, and students. The competition celebrates innovative ideas and inventions that contribute towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The competition provides an international platform for participants to showcase their innovative projects to the global scientific and academic community while gaining professional recognition and promoting the advancement of science, technology, and sustainable development. |
| Category and Participant | The competition is open to all academicians, researchers, and students from tertiary education institutes. – Every group should consist of a maximum of 5 members. – While there is no restriction on the composition of the members in a group, it is required that each group should contain at least one academician, who serves as the team leader and the correspondent. |

| Awards and Certificates | E-certificates will be given to all the participants. According to the judging criteria, the participants will receive: 1. Gold Award Certificate 2. Silver Award Certificate 3. Bronze Award Certificate 4. Certificate of Merit * All teams that comply with the ethical conduct will receive awards and/or certificates. |
| Terms and Conditions | 1. Each entry should contain one video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes, must be filmed horizontally, and must be uploaded to any free online video platform. Only the submission of video link is allowed. 2. The presentation must be in English and must be clearly spoken word. No poems, raps, or songs are allowed. 3. The topic must be about an innovative idea or invention related to science, which contributes to SDG. 4. Every video submission must contain: – A title slide – Information on novelty – Description on the process or the product – Description on the beneficial of the process or the product – Description of the contribution to SDG. – Wording “International Intervarsity Innovation Challenge 2025” in their video. 5. Competitors will not be judged on the video quality or editing capabilities. The judging criteria including: – The completeness of the required information. – Clarity in presentation. – Novelty and innovation. – Clear description of the process or product. – Contribution to society and to achieve SDG. 6. There is no limited number of submissions by a team. All the submissions will be judged according to the criteria stated in items 4 and 5. There is no limit to the number of awards that can be obtained by a team. 7. The judges’ decision is final. No negotiations or correspondence will be entertained, except for the disputes regarding ethical and intellectual property issues. 8. All the winners will receive the AWARD e-certificate through email and the display in ERA website with photograph. All the winners will receive an official AWARD e-Certificate via email with their names displayed on the ERA website. |
